Startup-Mixer with Christian Meermann

Christian Meermann co-founded Cherry Ventures in 2012 and serves as a Founding Partner at this Berlin-based, pan-European venture capital firm. He has been an early backer of European unicorns including FlixBus, Auto1 Group, and Flaschenpost. After studying at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (with early career stints in the US, Brazil, Spain, and South Africa), he began his career at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 2010, Christian became Zalando’s first Chief Marketing Officer, where he built up the online retailer’s marketing across 15 European markets and helped pave the way for Zalando’s IPO. He later joined the management board of Peek & Cloppenburg to lead the company’s digital business. At Cherry Ventures today, Christian leverages his hands-on experience in growth, marketing, and brand building to support B2B software and consumer startup founders across Europe.
