A visit with the designer at Berlin‘s first timber house.

URBANEST is a residential project designed by Paolo Conrad Bercah, in partnership with LIGNO ALP, the leading Italian company for timber structure.

URBANEST is a sort of reflection of a number of romantic architectural gates to be found in Berlin that have gathered in his unconscious memory. The project marks an urban entry/threshold by interacting with the multilayered context of Berlin – Neukölln.

URBANEST is a pilot pioneering project showing some of the advantages available to developer working today by resorting to the fast developing timber technology.
