Third Harvard Young Leaders Dinner

On October 4, 2017 we were delighted to welcome our guest speaker Michael Velchik, assistant Solicitor General for the State of Oklahoma. He spoke about President Trump’s travel ban and the death penalty in Oklahoma.

Our two Book Prize Winner Helen Eckstein and Valerya Krumova from the Berlin Bilingual School in Weißensee were especially charmed when Mr. Velchik took his time to chat with both of them about their interests and plans for the future. As he was encouraging the students to study in Harvard, Mr. Velchik shared some anecdotes about his time at school. Both students said "Thanks for this wonderful opportunity".
