Thanksgiving Dinner 2018

In cooperation with the German Stanford Association and the Aspen Institute Germany, we would like to cordially invite you to this year's edition of our Thanksgiving Dinner. Our special guests will be Amir Eshel, Stanford University, Professor of German Studies and Comparative Literature in conversation with Dr. Thomas Sparr, Suhrkamp Verlag about his new poetry based on personal encounters with Gerhard Richter and his work.

The event will be moderated by Rüdiger Lentz, Director of the Aspen Institute. Musical entertainment will be delivered by Korean pianist Shihyun Lee, who will play Felix Mendelssohn´s "Lieder ohne Worte“.
