This time, Steffen Wicker, founder of Homeday, will share his experience in financing a start-up. In January 2006, Steffen founded his first start-up together with friends. They were able to raise several million euros in funding and successfully grew the venture to become the market leader in Germany. Eventually, they lost the 'arms race' against bigger international competitors. The next company he successfully founded is Homeday, where he is currently the Managing Director.
