Harvardwood event
On Tuesday, February 16th, Harvardwood and the Harvard Club of Berlin hosted a toast to the Berlinale at Café Restaurant Neu. The event provided a rare opportunity for Harvard alumni visiting Berlin for the film festival to meet with Berlin's own Harvard community. Both organizations hope to make this an annual event and look forward to other collaborations in the not-too-distant future.
Created in 1999, Harvardwood is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization for Harvard University alumni, students, faculty and staff working or strongly interested in the arts, media and entertainment. The purpose of Harvardwood is to provide information, resources and professional opportunities for our members, while also endeavouring to strengthen ties among the arts, media, entertainment and education. Harvardwood coordinates programs and events for its members around the world, including on- and off-campus activities for students. Additionally, Harvardwood has an active online community, including a website, alumni directory and various email lists through which our over 3,000 members worldwide can send and receive information regarding career-related issues, social events, classified ads, and other areas of interest.
